Consolidation Grant call

CALL OPEN

The 2024 Call for Consolidation Grants is a special call that supports research projects with collaborating institutions in South Korea. The collaboration must be based on an existing partnership between researchers and scientists affiliated to a Swiss institution and researchers affiliated to a Korean institution.


To be eligible to apply, the partners must have already conducted at least one activity together.
Open to all scientific disciplines and fields of research, including social sciences and humanities.

Grant sum: max. 50'000 CHF
Project duration: up to 12 months
Application deadline: 15 June 2024

Early-Career Grant Call

CALL OPEN

The Early-Career Grant Call supports doctoral students (who have completed at least two years of their doctorate by the start of the research stay) currently working in a research group at an eligible Swiss institution to apply for a research stay in South Korea. UAS/UTE researchers with min 2+ and max. 5+ years of experience are also eligible to apply. The call is open to all scientific disciplines including social sciences and humanities, arts and design.

Type of funding: Candidates apply for a 3-month fellowship (3-6 months research stay).

Korea-Switzerland bilateral call for Joint Innovation Projects 2024

CALL OPEN

The Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology (KIAT) and the Swiss Innovation Agency (Innosuisse) announce a bilateral call for join R&D project outlines focused on developing market-ready solutions for products, technology-based services or processes that have significant market potential for South Korea and Switzerland.
Open to all disciplines, but particularly encouraged:
Biotech, Medtech, Digitalisation, AI, Additive manufacturing, Smart Materials, AR/VR, Hydrogen technologies, Renewable energy/batteries.
